August 18, 2011(Louisville, KY) Barry Elliott and U.S. Lube Lead the Way in the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Just past midway through the pulling season, odds are on Barry Elliott to win the points title in the Pro Farm Tractor class. Barry Elliott, a native of Hutson, KY., has been in the winner’s circle five times so far this year, and is currently leading the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB) points. “I have been using U.S. Lube since last year and it has really made an improvement on the performance of my tractor.” Said Elliott. “I use both the Oil Enhancer and the Fuel Injection Cleaner, and both products are really moving me down the track.” Commented Elliott. Barry Elliott competes in the Pro Farm Tractor class with the BOB Series. The BOB Series is the largest regional pulling series in the United States, sanctioning over 50 events annually throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. The Pro Farm Tractor class is by far the most competitive, with winners sometimes winning the events by pulling less than an inch over the other teams. Pro Farm Tractors are limited to 470 cubic inches and most use an agricultural motor that matches the tractor they pull. They are also limited to one turbo charger with a maximum inlet size no larger than three inches. Horsepower ranges around 1200, using motors that came from the factory that were once making around 200. “The rules are such that a puller must use anything they can to pull that extra inch for the win. U. S. Lube has really helped me get that competitive advantage.” Commented Elliott. Barry Elliott is the owner of Elliott Engineering, a company that makes products for industrial uses. “If a company has an out of the box idea that they need done, they see me.” Said Elliott. Elliott has several hundred patents in his name. Elliott is among several of the top teams using U.S. Lube in their pulling tractors, hauling trucks, on the farm and in their semis.
